Crest Nicholson Regeneration is once again lending its support to the Bath Business Awards which seeks to highlight the stories of successful local businesses.
An award winner in its own right and also a keen supporter of the Women in Business and Apprenticeship Awards, the developer behind the regeneration scheme at Bath Riverside is once again showing its support for Bath’s business community by sponsoring the Environmental Business category.
As a company Crest Nicholson takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously on all levels. The company continues to introduce new ways to address climate change, from leaner, smarter working practices to designing new, energy efficient homes and finding effective ways to help customers reduce their own energy costs and carbon footprint.
On a development level, Crest Nicholson works with partners to develop environmental strategies which reduce the use of energy and water, produce less waste and enhance the local ecology.
One of the most prominent environmental features at Bath Riverside is Victoria Bridge Gardens. A landscaped garden area designed as a flood mitigation system which holds water when the river level rises to prevent flooding further downstream.
Development Executive Fareen Lalani said, “We’re very pleased to be sponsoring the Environmental category at this year’s Awards as environmental responsibility is something that Crest Nicholson Regeneration prides itself in as a developer.
“Being successful in business and taking care of the environment are not mutually exclusive, and it is important that businesses today set the standards for future generations to exceed.
“As always we’re looking forward to finding out more about those local businesses who are excelling in their fields and to giving them the recognition they deserve at this year’s Bath Business Awards ceremony.”
