Free Art Exhibition Open to All at Bath Riverside

Pradeep Sharma - Head of Bath School of Art and Design and Will Kendrick – Artist

Members of the Bath community are being invited to a free art exhibition adjacent to the Bath Riverside Development.

The Trichromatic exhibition will showcase the artistic talents of a recent artist in residence at Bath Spa University, Will Kendrick, displaying his characteristic use of colour and his interest in gaudy, kitsch and often seemingly overindulgent aesthetics.

Will is a recent graduate of Bath School of Art and Design and has previously been involved in several group shows including, Constructing Current Painting at The Octagon Bath, The Nature of Change: Hybridity and Mutation at HRL Contemporary on Wilkes St, London and a project at the Tate Modern organised by Bath, Norwich and Winchester art schools.

Trichromatic will be hosted at the Elements Arts Space within the former Wessex Water building on Midland Road, and is being sponsored and hosted by Bath Riverside developer Crest Nicholson as part of its ongoing arts strategy.

The exhibition will be open daily to the public from 11am – 6pm until Friday 18th May and is being sponsored by Crest Nicholson, Crown Paint, Haven Fire & Security Services, Wessex Water and Bath Spa University.

Will Kendrick said, “This is a solo exhibition of my work produced during my time as artist in residence at Bath Spa University. It’s really exciting to be involved with the arts strategy for the Riverside development which is currently involved in some fantastic projects.”
